Bitten clothing Bitten clothing is the name given to the line of apparel that was launched recently by a famous Hollywood celebrity Sarah Jessica Parker. Bitten clothing and accessories are available only in Steve & Barry's chain of stores. Steve & Barry's chain of stores is one of the famous chain stores in the US which has a collection of high quality and low cost branded apparel. Besides Bitten, Steve & Barry's stores have an authentic collection of top American brands such as Hershey's, Hasbro and General Mills etc. Bitten apparel and accessories are designed and carved according to the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker. Most of the Bitten apparel designs are derived from Sarah Jessica Parker's wardrobe.

The name Bitten is given by Sarah Jessica parker as it was her first reaction when she visited Steve and Barry's store. She was inspired by the company's mission and was "bitten!", as she got mesmerized by the high quality and low cost collection of Steve and Barry and she decided she would try some thing similar. To be precise, Bitten clothing collection was launched in the market in august 2007.

The collection includes some thousand apparel pieces including dresses, jackets, wool and cashmere sweaters, shoes, belts, lingerie. Sarah Jessica parker's motive behind the launch of Bitten clothing is, she wants to provide quality clothing at lower prices, and she feels fashion is not a luxury but a right of every woman. Bitten clothing range offers high quality and low cost apparel and accessories to people. No item in Bitten line of apparel costs more than $19.

95. It has been made sure that Bitten apparel and accessories can satisfy the needs of women of all ages. Also, the range of sizes of Bitten apparel is very extensive. Tops of range XS to XXL, bottoms of range 0-22 and shoes of range 5 to 11 are available.

As mentioned earlier, Bitten clothes are only available in Steve & Barry's chain of stores; they cannot be bought on phone, mail or internet. The inspiration behind Bitten is derived from Sarah Jessica parker's visit to Steve & Barry outlets couple of years ago, where high quality clothes were available at very economical prices. She knows how difficult it is to get well dressed with a low budget, as she was among the eight children in her family. Apart from Sarah Jessica parker other celebrities who joined the low cost clothes revolution are Isaac Mizrahi, Nicole Miller and Vera Wang.

The latest collection was launched under Bitten on November 21, 2007. The collection was presented in the project runway; a conscious effort was made such that the cost of any apparel did not exceed $15. The runway collection includes Mercer two Button vest, V-neck pullover, sleeveless flare leg mercer trouser, textured tunic, crackled slim leg mercer trouser, long sleeve stripe tribeca, basic footless tights and belts.
